2. User Data Collection

We are committed to data minimization and only process data necessary for the extension to function.

Local Processing: The extension processes Excel spreadsheets, Amazon product data (like ASINs and titles), and charting queue information entirely locally within your browser.
API Configurations: If you choose to use our opt-in AI features, you may provide API keys for third-party services (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini). We do not collect these keys; they are used directly by the extension.
Personal Information: We do not collect, transmit, or store personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, or physical address.

3. User Data Handling and Usage

The data processed by the extension is strictly used for automating the creation of Amazon A+ Content modules on your behalf.

Automation: Product details and configurations you provide are used to programmatically fill out forms on Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central via browser automation scripts.
AI Generation: If enabled, your product data and configuration prompts are formatted into requests to generate text or structure comparison charts.

        Important: Your Amazon credentials and session data are handled natively by your browser's secure environment. The extension does not access, read, or transmit your passwords or session cookies to us or any third parties.
      

4. User Data Storage

All data storage is strictly local. We do not operate any external servers or databases to store your data.

Chrome Local Storage: The extension utilizes Chrome's built-in local storage to save your application state, queued charts, historical uploads, and user preferences (including your provided API keys).
Retention: This data remains on your device and is retained only as long as the extension is installed. You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser's extension data.

5. User Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any data brokers, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties for marketing purposes.

However, the extension may share specific data with third parties only under the following user-initiated circumstances:

Amazon Services: By design, the extension interacts with Amazon (e.g., amazon.com, amazon.co.uk) to submit your A+ Content drafts. Data is sent directly from your browser to Amazon's servers.
Opt-In AI Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini): If you actively configure and use the AI generation or translation features, relevant product data (such as ASINs, titles, and your prompt context) is transmitted directly from your browser to the respective API of the service you configured. This data is subject to the privacy policies of those respective third-party providers. We do not intermediate or log these requests.

6. Permissions Explained

To function correctly, the extension requires the following Chrome permissions:

storage & unlimitedStorage: Used to locally save your charting queues, history, and user settings on your device without size constraints.
sidePanel: Allows the extension to display its user interface alongside your web browsing experience.
scripting: Necessary to inject the automation scripts into Amazon Seller/Vendor Central pages to automatically fill out A+ Content modules on your behalf.
webRequest: Used strictly as an internal monitoring tool to observe network request completion states (e.g., waiting for Amazon to finish saving a draft before proceeding). We do not intercept, read, or store the contents of these network requests.
Host Permissions: Access to Amazon domains is required to automate data entry on those specific sites.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory requirements. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
